Venue Partnership Program

Terms & Conditions — Effective May 2026

1. Eligibility

The Venue Partnership Program is open to wedding and events venues located within 100km of Warragul, Victoria. Venues outside this radius are not eligible to participate and will not receive commission payments. DJ Stefan reserves the right to verify venue location and reject or revoke applications that do not meet this criteria.

2. Commission Structure

Approved venue partners earn a commission of 10% of the total confirmed booking value, capped at $200 per booking. Commission is calculated on the full invoice amount including all packages, add-ons, lighting upgrades, extended hours and equipment hire — excluding travel surcharges only.

Venues are encouraged to discuss DJ Stefan's full range of services with clients, as a higher booking value results in a higher commission payment.

3. Referral Trigger

Commission is earned when a venue partner creates a client record directly through their venue portal account prior to the client making direct contact with DJ Stefan. The following conditions must all be met:

4. One Commission Per Booking

Only one commission payment will be made per booking. In the event of a dispute between venue partners over a referral, DJ Stefan's decision is final.

5. Payment

Commission payments are made within 7 days of the event date, provided:

Failure to provide bank details before the event date may result in delayed payment. DJ Stefan is not liable for payment delays caused by incomplete bank details.

6. Cancellations & Reschedules

No commission is payable on cancelled bookings regardless of the reason for cancellation. If a booking is rescheduled, commission is paid after the rescheduled event date. Deposit forfeiture by a client does not constitute a commission-qualifying event.

7. Client Breach & Non-Performance

In the event that a client breaches their booking contract with DJ Stefan — including but not limited to late cancellation within the penalty period, failure to pay the final balance, dishonoured payments, or any other material breach — no commission will be payable to the referring venue partner. Where a deposit has been forfeited by the client as a result of a breach, this does not constitute a completed booking and no commission entitlement arises. DJ Stefan will notify the venue partner of any client breach that affects a pending commission.

8. Fraudulent Referrals

Any attempt to manipulate the referral system — including but not limited to creating fictitious client records, backdating referrals, or coordinating false referrals — will result in immediate termination of portal access, forfeiture of any pending commissions, and may be referred to the relevant authorities.

9. Portal Access

Venue portal access is granted upon approval of a venue submission. DJ Stefan reserves the right to suspend or revoke portal access at any time without notice. Suspended venues forfeit any unpaid commissions accrued during the period of suspected fraudulent activity.

10. Exclusivity

This program does not grant exclusivity. DJ Stefan may work with multiple venues in the same geographic area simultaneously.

11. Program Variation & Termination

DJ Stefan reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Venue Partnership Program at any time without notice. Any commission entitlements accrued prior to termination on confirmed bookings already in progress will be honoured in full. No commission will be payable on new referrals made after the program termination date.

12. DJ Stefan Non-Performance

In the event that DJ Stefan is unable to fulfil a booking due to illness, emergency or any other unforeseen circumstance, and a suitable replacement performer cannot be arranged, the referring venue partner will receive their full commission entitlement provided a full refund has been issued to the client. Where DJ Stefan arranges a replacement performer and the event proceeds, commission will be calculated on the original booking value.

13. Standard of Performance — Mutual Obligations

DJ Stefan's obligations: The booked services must be delivered to a professional standard for the agreed duration. Where DJ Stefan fails to meet this standard through his own fault — including technical failure, late arrival, or significant deviation from the agreed services — the venue partner's commission entitlement is not affected. The venue partner referred in good faith and should not be penalised for DJ Stefan's performance. Any client remediation is a matter between DJ Stefan and the client only.

Venue's obligations: The referring venue partner is responsible for ensuring the event space meets the following minimum standards at the time of the booking:

Where a venue fails to meet these obligations and this materially impacts DJ Stefan's ability to deliver the booked services, commission may be withheld in full or in part. DJ Stefan will provide reasonable notice of any venue-related concerns where possible.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
